Full Time—Part Time—Radiology Tech

Location: Lincoln County Hospital

Lincoln County Hospital is looking to employ a full time or part time position in the Radiology Department.  Candidate is required to hold a current Radiology Technologist license in the State of Kansas, be registered with ARRT, and Computed Tomography (CT) experience preferred but not required (willing to train).  Our radiology department is equipped with DR systems in both the room and portable.  We just upgraded our CT machine as well!

The Radiology department if staffed with 12 hour rotating day shifts Monday-Friday.  We are also very flexible.  Call is at night during the week and on the weekends.  General call hours include being on call one night a week and one weekend per month.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to act independently and make decisions under stress.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to handle emergency and crisis situations.

Education and Experience:

• Completion of training in an approved school for Radiological Technologists.
• Must be a registered Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists
• Must be licensed as a Radiologic Technologist by the state of Kansas (or in the process).

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.  The lifting and moving of patients, along with carrying cassettes is a requirement of this position.
• Work if performed inside a climate controlled area and personnel may be exposed to certain amounts of radiation and infectious substances.
